What is it about you
That makes us so intimate?
I am the rain
You are the rock
And when I cry
My tears touch you.
With time
They seep into you
Just a few.
You make them beautiful
So breathtakingly beautiful:
Purple
Citrine
A soft yellow.
Inside you I grow
I build walls
I shape myself into
A crust of a world
In miniature.
Who knows we are this thing together?
Who sees how we build each other up?
It is beautiful
to you and to me.
But to everyone else
Until we are revealed
We are nothing.
Yes, we are intimate but
Do we exist if they cannot see us?
Will you please be intimate with me?
