Hello! I’m Candice Landau, your South African-American guide to the underwater world and all things travel and adventure related. I believe in living life now (rather than after retirement) and encourage others to do the same. Have that extra mimosa. Eat that butter-soaked curry, and yes, maybe swim a few laps so you can keep pace with your own wandering.
When I travel, I immerse myself with an open mind in new cultures and experiences. I talk to the locals; I interview my connections, and I say “zed” instead of “zzz” (hey, that’s an icebreaker!). I also eat plant-based food because I love animals and don’t want to partake in activities that cause physical harm to any being.
Because I’m hungry to learn, explore and share the world, collaborations are win-win. On all adventures you’ll find me with at least three bags in tow, including a camera equipped for underwater photography and video, a 360 camera for amazing and immersive shots, a drone for out-of-this-world POV, and your regular GoPros and Insta 360s. What can I say, I’m a gear junkie…
Needless to say, when I travel for work, I mean business! Either way, when you work with me you won’t get a high-maintenance influencer (unless you want that?). You’ll get a down-to-earth gal who’s lived in other countries, dived the world, taught scuba, dived tech, ridden horses competitively, and well, just really loves meeting new people and bringing stories to life with words and visuals.
